Color Mixing Cards
This set of activity cards utilizes simple circles of color to demonstrate and demystify beginning color theory. There are two sets of 9 color equations, one labeled and one unlabeled. Each set is split into groups of three: one group of primary to secondary colors and two groups of secondary to tertiary colors. With the optional group labels, there are a myriad of ways to display and implement these cards. The cards use a clear print font and have a color-coded border to designate the area of curriculum. Vocabulary included: primary, secondary, tertiary, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, vermilion, chartreuse, violet, amber, teal, magenta.
